This is my 11th post and I think this is the last post that Sir Izuan will asked us to do. Despite that, I will give serious thoughts on whether I should continue blogging or not. In the first post of ''Subjects This Semester'' I have told you guys what I have expected from all the subjects that I'm having this semester. So, in ''Subjects This Semester 2'' I will share my view on the subjects that I have experienced through out the semester.

Firstly, Bel311 that is taught by Sir Izuan. At first, I do not understand why he asked us to create a blog and start blogging. Me myself is not the kind of person that checks my email regularly, even my Myspace account are rarely updated. After a few post in this blog, I started to get use to it and found out why he asked us to do it. It seriously can help my writing skills. In Bel311 also, I have enjoyed the speaking practices that is done every Thursday. Thank you Sir Izuan for giving so much effort in helping us and sorry if there were any wrong doings while we are together. Lastly, I put my hopes high in getting an A in Bel311. Hope I will succeed.

Next is Fin262 taught by En. Syamsyul. This semester is En. Syamsyul last semester as a lecturer here at UiTM Johor for he is going abroad to continue his study. He also is getting married before that. Accounting, maths are not my strongest subject, but finance that is taught by En. Syamsyul have really open my eyes on how interesting that subject is. I wish En. Syamsyul all the best in his life. Now, I want to try my best in scoring an A for this subject. Wish me luck.

Eco211 is taught by PM Abdullah but we just call him Cik Dollah. He is a funny lecturer that loves to tease his students in the class. I respect him because he can teach without using a book or a manual. He teaches based on his own notes and he make sure that every single one of his students understand what his trying to teach. Additional information, I heard that this upcoming 1st November he is going to be Timbalan Pengarah HEP. I've been to his house with the rest of the class for an open house. I had a great time that day.

BMD101 is a Mandarin class that is taught by Chong Peng Hwa Laoshi. I really love this lecturer because she is funny in her own way. I do not think she realise that. She calls me Ahmad and whenever there is quiz she always watch me carefully maybe because I'm quite bad at mandarin. It is like learning Bahasa Melayu all over again. Anyway, I do hope that I can master this subject for I know it will help me in the future.

Ctu241 is taught by Ustaz Kamarulzaman. He is a sporting lecturer that encourage his students to open their mind. He tells us clearly on what does he want in his assignments, presentations and how to answer the finals. This clearly helps a lot. Ustaz Kamarulzaman is also in the disciplinary committee. He is the one that handle those who is convicted guilty in the court.

Next is tennis coached by En. Naser. At first, I thought I've known almost everything there is to know about tennis. But En. Naser proved me wrong. There are still a lot to learn about tennis and I will keep improving on that. He has a nine year old son that have been practising tennis since he was five. That kid can beat me for sure in a game of tennis.

Lastly is Qmt216 taught by En. Zaki. He is a young lecturer and still new in what he is doing. His teaching are quite blurry but I can keep up once I revise them on my own. He often do an extra class and asked us to come meet him in his office regularly. I've done a lot of assignments for him that can help me for my finals. He is a strict lecturer that locks the door for whoever comes late. I've been send to the court accused by him for not attending his classes. But I've won that case and my name has been cleared.

I want to say thank you to all the lecturers that have been teaching me through out the semester and sorry if there were any mistakes that I've done. At last, I wish all the lecturers the best in their life. Thank you.

What I love Most About Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Hi. Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. The things that I love most about Hari Raya is maybe the quality times that I get to spend with my family. My big brother usually works offshore and my older sister is at UTP, Perak. While my parents are always busy with work. So vacation is the only time that we get together and have fun.

My father is from Penang while my mother is from Negri Sembilan. So to make it fair what they do is to spend the first Raya at Negri and then go to Penang. Another thing that I love about Raya is that I get to meet all my cousins whom I rarely see if not for Raya. So, as we all know after ''sembahyang raya'', we as children have to ask for forgiveness from our parents. My family is what I can say as an egoistic family excluding my parents, but I always thought that we got that from them. So when it times to say we are sorry, sometimes it will be drag until the evening for us to finally come see our parents and ask for forgiveness. I know it seems stupid but that's just the way it is.

Most people have two grandmothers, one from their fathers side and one from their mothers side. For me, I have three grandmothers. That's because my father have two mother. The story goes like this, my father was given to his mothers sister that is his aunt because his aunt doesn't have a son and she have made an agreement with my fathers mother that if she delivers a son, the son will be given to her. My father was told about this when he was 12. At first we usually stayed at my grandmothers house that raised my father but now that she has gone we usually stays at my real grandmothers. For me, I love them both.

Another thing that I love about Hari Raya is the infinite food that's provided. Every time it is Raya, I would gain a few kilos but because of my high metabolism rate, it would not be long before I lose them. I would always be the ''victim'' in my family to eat what were served to us. This is because after a long day visiting peoples houses and eating, they would get full and my parents would tell me to eat at every house to show a term of courtesy.

Lastly, who doesn't love ''duit raya''. I have found out that now I'm in a university, I have received more ''duit raya'' than before. That is seriously something good. I think that's all from me right now. Until next time. Kashfi, out.

Childhood Memories of Ramadhan

Hello. It has been a while since i last updated my blog. I hope you readers can forgive me on that. Getting back to the topic, my childhood memories of Ramadhan.

The story goes like this, I started fasting when I was in standard 4. That is 10 years old. As I heard from other kids, when they complete the entire month fasting they will get a reward. Some were given money and some were given toys. For me, there will be nothing at the end of 30 days of fasting. This is because my father always said to me and my siblings that we shouldn't fast for the sake of the money but for Allah S.W.T. So he wanted to train us from the beginning to fast for Allah.

The funny thing is, my mother is an entirely different story. She would always say to me that if I can fast without breaking it, she would buy or make all kinds of food that I love. For example, back then I'm a huge fan of doughnuts. Give me any kind of them and I can finish it in two bites. Then after breaking our fast together, each one of us will go to our room and do Maghrib. I can still remember the drowsiness that I felt when it is time to go to Solat Terawih. It must be because I'm full of all the food that I ate. Still, I never miss Solat Terawih.

Now, I would like to tell a story about my little sister. The reason why I want to tell about her because I find it quiet funny. In the first year of she fasting, it was going smooth but she will be whining all day and always asked us ''what time is it?'' or ''is it Maghrib already?''. So one day, the weather was really hot and me and my sister came back from school as usual. Usually I would watch the TV with her thorough out the evening while waiting for Maghrib. But this one time she was not with me. So I looked everywhere for her as I should take care of her. Finally, I was shocked with what I saw. She was sleeping with her head in the fridge. The funny thing was, she was really sleeping! Like there was nothing unusual with her. So I woke her up and told her to get a shower and go to sleep in her room.

Hope you guys enjoyed reading my blog. After this, Raya. Bye.

My Favorite Song

Today I'll be talking about my favorite song. That is ''No it isn't'' from a band called +44. I love this song because the history that lies beyond this song is interesting and I know the writer writes this song with a lot of emotion poured towards it.

The band member of +44, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker was originally from a band called Blink182 that consists of them and a guy name Tom DeLonge. The band was formed in 1992 but in early 2005 Tom left the band initiating an indefinite hiatus. Mark and Travis decided to continue to play music together therefore forming +44.

All of this was created by Tom when he decided to take a break from the band while they are touring as an excuse to be with his family. Later on Tom decided to quit the band. The news was told to Tom and Travis by their manager instead from Tom himself. This created a void between Tom and his ex-band mates.

After almost three and a half year not talking to each other, Mark Hoppus created a song called ''No it isn't'' displaying all of his feelings towards Tom DeLonge. At first Mark didn't admit that song was intended for Tom, but the lyrics just meant to be for Tom and only him. Later on, he admitted that song was written based on Tom.

I would really love to put the song in my page but I just don't know how to do it. After this, when you listen to this song, you would know what is the song about and the history that lies beyond the song. That's it for today, bye!

My New Album

Hi. My new album is out in your nearest store. Go buy it while it's still there. My album is based on a heavy metal genre. It is named Crooked. These are the songs title and their summaries.

1. God is one.
This song tells you about how Allah is one and no one can disobey Him.

2. Howler.
This song portraits how life is not perfect and there will always be a mistake that you will make.
So just learn from the past.

3. Speak up.
Speak up is a song where it tells you to never kept quite and tell people what you really feels.

4. Nightmares.
This song is a message that nightmares are not that bad once you learn from it. There are always a message from a dream.

5. Minimizer.
There are always gonna be problems in our life. It's just how a man handles them. For me it is by minimizing it.

6. Secrecy.
It is good to let people know about you. But some secret are meant to stay as a secret. That is this song all about.

7. Finders Keepers
In this world, there are only one chance at all you are doing. So if you missed it, it is others to take.

8. Never give up.
This song is a continuous to ''Finders Keepers'' song. It tells that if you had lost something, never give up searching for it again.

9. A Beautiful Mess.
In every mess we are in, every trouble or mistake. There are always a reason behind that mess. Instead of whining about it, we should take a lesson from it.

10. Goodbye Goodnight.
This song tells us that nothing is forever in this world. That is why we should learn how to appreciate people while they are still in front of our eyes.

That's it from my current album. I'll be working on my next album for the next 5 years. Wait for it and you will never regret it. Bye!

10 Facts About Me

The ten things people do not know about me. For the past month I've found out that Fin, Eco and Qmt are very interesting and I have targeted at least an A- for all these subjects. Especially for Finance for it have the most credit hours that is 4. Eco, Qmt and Bel have 3 credit hours while Ctu have 2.

If I'm given an opportunity to get rid any one of my subjects, it would be Finance. Finance needs a lot of exercise for it is a calculation subject. It's not that I'm not good in it, it's just that I'm not the hardworking type of people. These have made Acc115 and Costing a misery for me in part 1 and part 2 respectively. Luckily I got a great lecturer for my Finance this semester whose name is Mr. Syamsul. So far I've understand every bit of his teaching but for this upcoming test, he said we all need to get 70 and above for our marks or there will be a new lecturer taking over our class. He is going abroad next year to further his studies, I wish him all the best.

For my Eco211 I've got Mr. Abdullah also known as PM Dollah as my lecturer. He is a professional at what he does. He teaches with very much passion and never misses every little detail that should be taught. I hope I can improve from my last semester Micro and get an A for this subject. Last semester I got a B+ for my Micro.

Statistic have been quiet difficult for me because of the class schedule. It is at 4 p.m at Tuesday and 8 a.m at Friday. That is a very drowsy time for me and for that I've paid the price for not paying attention in class. I haven't understand anything about statistic but I'll try to catch up with the lessons in test 1. The lecturer Ms. Arfa is a young lecturer who calls me Fifi because of my name Kashfi. I've never been called Fifi before, people usually calls me kash so it is quite creative for her to think of that name. She is a smart lecturer and an attractive one also.

For Ctu241, I've been into a lot of trouble for this subject. At first I was in group D3D2 for this subject but then I have to change my group to D3D1 because the HEA said my name was not registered in D3D2 class. Now everyday from Monday to Friday I have a class at 8 a.m. My lecturer's name is Ustaz Kamarulzaman. For I've just change my class, I don't really know what Ustaz is like but he seems like a very nice guy who have a lot of experience in life because he likes to tell stories of his life plus a moral in it.

Encik Izwan is my lecturer for Bel311. I think he is a man of principles. His appearance are never sloppy and I think a people appearance can describe a person very well. So far, there's been a lot of activity in our class and creating this blog is one of them. Some say that Encik Izwan sometimes go to our sport centre to play volleyball. I don't know whether that's correct or not for I've never saw him there.

For my curriculum, I've taken tennis class. This is because I've been interested in tennis for quite a long time and never got the opportunity to play them. So I took this chance to go to tennis class. Plus, it's for free. My coach is Encik Naser. He is the director for sports curriculum and he is a fine coach as well.

I really do hope I get a Dean's List this semester for it has been evading me for the past 2 semester. Wish me all the best for my studies. Thank you for reading readers.

Life being a senior

Hi readers. This is my third post in my blog and this time I'm going to tell you about life being a senior. Currently I'm in part three, so I don't suppose I'm that big enough to be called a senior but still, I have juniors in my room. They are Hadi and Hareez whom I spoke about in my last post.

Being a senior is so much better than being a junior because I won't be forced to go to some activity, I don't have to stayed up late to ask for seniors signature, and I can move freely in the college without risking being called by one of the seniors. This semester, I would say the juniors are lucky because most of the "otai" seniors didn't have their application into college accepted. Though saying that, I still think that juniors should at least introduce themselves to their seniors without being forced. The least they can do is to know their own wing mate. Once they have known their seniors, it would be easy for them to live in college.

For Hadi and Hareez, at first I felt there was a gap between us all but that gap was gone by a week time approximately. Now I don't think of them as my juniors but more as my brothers. I think they feel the same way too. As seniors, we should advise our juniors on how to live their life on campus, how to respect people, how to balance both academic and curriculum activities and most importantly is to tell them not to get distracted and stay focus on their true goal for being in a university.

I would consider myself as a nice senior, as I never hold any juniors until 3 o'clock in the morning, never forced them to do anything, and when they come to me for my signature I would just ask them simple questions to know just enough about them.

So let us all live peacefully in one college. That's all for now, watch out for my next post. Bye.

My Roommates

After telling you guys about me in my last post, now it's time for you all to know about my roommates. As stated before, I'm now studying in UiTM Segamat, Johor and living under the college named Sempana Riau. I have 3 roommates excluding me. They are Azmirul, Hadi, and Haris.

Azmirul whose full name is Azmirul Hafiz B. Alwi is also known as Yeop. The reason why we call him Yeop is because his from Perak and as we all know the name ''Yeop'' is what they use to call people in Perak. Yeop and I have shared the same room for the past three semester, while Hadi and Haris is the new student who just came in this semester. Yeop's father works as a Proton's executive manager in Perak while his mother works as a teacher teaching modern mathematics and additional mathematics. For that, he got an A for those two subject for his SPM. Yeop is taking Diploma in Business Studies and in the same batch as me that is semester three. He is planning to continue his studies in Bachelor in Finance.

Next is Hadi which full name is Hairi Hadi B. Mustafa Kamal. He is from Ampang, Selangor which is the same as me. So they are no problem in creating a bond with him as most Ampang people share the same interests that is playing futsal, going to cyber cafe's and of course hanging out. He is in semester one taking Diploma Business Studies in Transportation. Both of his parents works as an engineer for Motorola company at Petaling Jaya. He is number two in a siblings of four. Hadi often buy me launch and gives me Maggi when I'm hungry so I guess I like having him in my room.

Muhammad Hareez B. Shaik Mohd is another part one student who just moved into my room this semester. Unlike Hadi who is from the same place as me, Hareez is from the same place as Yeop that is Perak. His father works as an engineer for SIRIM and sadly his mother has past away several years ago. He is taking Diploma in Computer Science which I personally think is very suitable for him as he himself admits that he is a computer ''geek''. Just last week, he repairs Yeop's notebook by just configuring his system which I do not know much as I'm not that clever when it comes to computers or notebooks. As for that, Hareez just saved Yeop's a lot of money as he just do it for free.

I hope me, Yeop, Hadi, and Hareez can stay as roommates for the next semester as I feel comfortable being with them. I think of them all as my brothers. Look out for my next post. Bye!

P/S: Sorry for the late post as i just got back from Johor Bahru for a sports event.

About Me

Hi. My name is Ahmad Kashfi bin Ahmad Kamal. I know it sounds a bit weird but it has a simple meaning to it. It means seeing what other's can't see. This coming November I will turn 19 years old. I was born in 1990 which is the year of a horse and my zodiac sign is Scorpio. A book once said that Scorpio's often experience mood swings. I guess that applies to me too.

When i was in primary school, I was a prefect and were doing great in my studies but sadly I only obtained 3 A's for my UPSR. I was planning to get into a sport school at Bukit Jalil because I was really great in football and was recommended there. Again, the frustration came to me as my father stopped me from getting into the sport school by saying I will have no future playing football. Now I understand why he made that decision.

Afterwards, when I went to secondary school. I started to get involve in the wrong side of crowd. I did not do the main thing I was supposed to do in school, that is to study. For that I got no A's for my PMR. In Form 4 I took Accounting and was determined to change myself and make my parents proud for they have spend thousands of Ringgit for my tuition fees and seminars. For my SPM result I got 1A and 9 B3 and B4. I guess it was just a little too late for me to change the B's into A's. But I'm pleased that my application to UiTM got accepted.

Now I'm studying at UiTM Johor, Segamat taking Diploma in Banking. I'm already in my second year here. I'm planning to continue my studies for Degree in Islamic Banking. Last year, I got chosen to play futsal for UiTM Johor. Although we lost at quarterfinal, it was a fun and exciting experience for me. I hope I will get chosen again this year for I love the adrenaline rush that futsal has given to me. However, I'm still aiming for the Dean's List this semester.
